For us, PVR Select City Walk takes the top spot for its combination of picture quality and sound.
The auditorium uses an IMAX CoLa laser projection system, paired with a 12-channel IMAX sound setup. While the screen isn’t the biggest in the region, the combination makes it one of the most complete IMAX experiences in Delhi NCR.
The theatre is also an official IMAX venue listed by IMAX.

2. PVR Priya, Vasant Vihar – IMAX XT Laser
Screen Size: 69 × 36.3 ft
Projection: IMAX XT Laser
Audio: IMAX 12-channel
If screen size is your priority, PVR Priya is arguably the most attractive option on this list.
At 69 × 36.3 feet, it is considerably larger than most IMAX screens in the NCR. It also combines laser projection with a 12-channel IMAX sound system.
The official IMAX listing confirms that PVR Priya offers IMAX with Laser and stadium seating.
For large-scale movies, this is one of the first screens we would consider.

3. PVR Superplex Logix, Noida – IMAX Xenon
Screen Size: 71 × 37.3 ft
Projection: Dual 2K Xenon
Audio: IMAX 6-track
This is where things get interesting.
PVR Superplex Logix has the largest screen on this list at 71 × 37.3 feet, making it an excellent choice if your priority is simply getting a huge IMAX canvas.
However, the auditorium uses dual 2K Xenon projection rather than a modern laser system, and its audio setup is 6-track.
That is why we have placed it below the two laser-equipped options despite its enormous screen.

4. PVR Vegas, Dwarka – IMAX Xenon
Screen Size: 68.1 × 38.1 ft
Projection: Dual 2K Xenon
Audio: IMAX 6-track
PVR Vegas has another seriously large IMAX screen.
At 68.1 × 38.1 feet, the auditorium offers a very large viewing area, although it uses the older dual Xenon projection system.
If you are looking for a big-screen IMAX experience in West Delhi, it remains a solid option.

5. PVR Ambience Mall, Gurugram – IMAX Xenon
Screen Size: 53.5 × 28.1 ft
Projection: Dual 2K Xenon
Audio: IMAX 6-track
The Ambience Mall IMAX is a more conventional-sized auditorium compared with Priya, Logix or Vegas.
It uses dual 2K Xenon projection and 6-track IMAX audio. While it doesn’t lead the NCR in screen size or projection technology, it remains a convenient option for audiences in Gurugram.

6. INOX: IMAX Paras, New Delhi – IMAX XT Laser
Screen Size: 52 × 28 ft
Projection: IMAX XT Laser
Audio: IMAX 6-channel
INOX Paras gets an important advantage from its IMAX XT Laser projection system.
The screen itself is not particularly large compared with the biggest IMAX auditoriums in Delhi NCR, and the audio system is a 6-channel setup. Still, the laser projection makes it an interesting choice for viewers who value image quality.

7. INOX Vishal, Rajouri Garden – IMAX XT Laser
Screen Size: 50 × 26 ft
Projection: IMAX XT Laser
Audio: IMAX 6-channel
The IMAX auditorium at INOX Vishal is another laser-equipped option.
With a 50 × 26-foot screen, it isn’t among the largest in the NCR, but the IMAX XT Laser system gives it an edge over older Xenon-equipped auditoriums.
A good option if you are based around West Delhi.

Despite being last in our ranking, this one shouldn’t be dismissed.
PVR Superplex at DLF Mall of India has 4K laser projection and 12-channel IMAX audio, which is a strong technical combination. The main reason it sits lower here is its relatively smaller screen compared with the other major IMAX auditoriums in Delhi NCR.
For viewers who value projection and sound over sheer screen size, this could easily move higher on their personal list.

Our Take
Delhi NCR has a surprisingly diverse IMAX lineup, ranging from older Xenon systems to modern laser projection. The biggest screen isn’t automatically the best screen, projection quality, sound and screen size all matter.
For a balanced premium experience, we’d put Select City Walk and PVR Priya at the top, while Logix remains the choice for viewers who simply want a massive IMAX screen.
